Abstract

The outcome of frontal sinus fracture management is controversial because of the relatively small mumber of patients and short follow-up.
Frontal sinus fractures are relatively uncommon. The most common cause is the motor vehicle accident.
The most common associated finding is a forehead laceration of the supraorbital ridge, glabella of lower forehead.
Surgical approaches to the frontal sinus fracture may be performed through ablation, osteoplastic flap with anterior sinus wall preservaion, sinus obliteration, cranialization.
This is a case report of frontal sinus fracture of 12 year old male patient with a review of the literature.
We had met a 12 year old male patient who was admitted because of chief complaints of left eyeball pain & diplopia. Diagnosis was the superior orbital rim fracture, frotal sinus fracture, cerebral contusion according to the clinical examination
and
radiographic evaluation, And so we performed the open reduction and sinus obliteration with human dura mater and abdominal fat graft.
